Terms and Conditions for TweetGit
Effective Date: February 21, 2025 Welcome to TweetGit. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. 1. Definitions In these Terms: "TweetGit," "we," "us," or "our" refers to TweetGit, the owner of the website https://tweetgit.com. "User," "you," or "your" refers to any individual or entity using our services. "Service" refers to the TweetGit website and its features, including the automation of Twitter/X updates based on GitHub commit history. 2. User Accounts To use our Service, you must create an account and provide certain information, including your name, email address, Twitter/X account, and GitHub account. Our use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://tweetgit.com/privacy-policy. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must have the necessary permissions and rights to link your GitHub repositories to our Service. 3. Subscription and Payment Our Service is offered on a subscription basis. With a standard subscription, you gain access to automate Twitter/X updates for up to 3 GitHub repositories. If you wish to automate updates for additional repositories, you may upgrade to a higher tier subscription. Payments are processed through a third-party payment processor, and you are responsible for any fees associated with your payment method. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis, and you may cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods. 4. Content Responsibility By using our Service, you authorize TweetGit to access your GitHub commit history and to post tweets on your behalf based on that history. You are solely responsible for the content of the tweets posted through our Service, as they are derived from your commit messages. TweetGit does not endorse or take responsibility for any content posted through the Service. 5. Intellectual Property TweetGit owns all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all intellectual property rights. By using the Service, you grant TweetGit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and process your data (including your commit history and tweets) as necessary to provide the Service. You retain all ownership rights to your own content. 6. Prohibited Activities You agree not to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including but not limited to: Violating any applicable laws or regulations Interfering with or disrupting the Service or servers Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts Using the Service in a way that violates the terms of service of Twitter/X or GitHub 7. Third-Party Platforms TweetGit integrates with third-party platforms, including Twitter/X and GitHub. You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of these platforms. TweetGit is not affiliated with Twitter/X or GitHub and does not control their policies or practices. 8. Termination TweetGit may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms or for non-payment of subscription fees. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. 9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. TweetGit does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TweetGit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. 10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. 11. Updates to the Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email prior to the changes taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. 12.
